the inspiring message is that we are constantly growing whether we like it or want it- change and growth are two inseparable aspects of life. I have learned that we need to embrace it rather than constantly fear and avoid it… the spiritual journey continues whether you realize it or not!

We may not know where we are, but the moment is all we have. This spiritual journey is happening and maybe this is heaven, purgatory or hell. We don’t know, but the choice is ours. Sometimes is complicated, different, good, lonely, cold, beautiful: the spiritual journey doesn’t follow a time line.

We have a beautiful prayer from “The Four Agreements” by Don Miguel Ruiz. We would like to share with all. It is the center of Elizabeth and Cain’s Love, Light and Truth. It is what binds them together, and will continue to bind them together forever.
Please take a moment to close your eyes, open your heart, and feel all the love that comes from your heart.
I want you to join with my words in your mind and in your heart, to feel a very strong connection of love. Together, we are going to do a very special prayer to experience a communion with our Creator.
Focus your attention on your lungs, as if only your lungs exist. Feel the pleasure when your lungs expand to fulfill the biggest need of the human body- to breathe.
Take a deep breath and feel the air as it fills your lungs. Feel how the air is nothing but love. Notice the connection between the air and lungs, a connection of love. Expand your lungs with air until your body has the need to expel that air. And then exhale, and feel the pleasure again. Because when we fulfill any need of the human body, it gives us pleasure. To breathe is enough for us to always be happy, to enjoy life. Just to be alive is enough. Feel the pleasure to be alive, the pleasure of the feeling of love….
Thank you, Creator of the Universe, for the gift of life you have given us. Thank you for giving us everything that we have ever truly needed. Thank you for the opportunity to experience this beautiful body and the wonderful mind. Thank you for living inside us with all our love, with your pure and boundless spirit, with your warm and radiant light.
Thank you for using our words, for using our eyes, for using our hearts to share your love wherever we go. We love you just the way you are, and because we are your creation, we love ourselves just the way we are. Help us to keep the love and the peace in our hearts and to make that love a new way of life, that we may live in love the rest of are lives. Amen.
Yes, we are. I just need to remember myself that the problems of others are the solution for my selfishness. May God give us the strength and courage to help everyone around us, so surely we will grown through it and with one another. Big hug!
Love that line. So many times come up against yourself and you feel like you’re stopped, stagnating, but it’s all part of the journey. Checked in or out it’s where you are and as a line from the old Kung Fu movie said ”Soul doesn’t record time, just growth.” The journey is just however long it takes and whatever you’re doing is part of your journey. The thought helps folk like me who try to get as much done as possible in as short a time and feel like checked out time is wasted when it t’aint at all.

i can’t believe it’s already june! time is just flying by these days. i’ll be 35 on the 2nd which doesn’t seem real at all. not sure what i thought i’d be doing at this point in my life…but i still feel like i’m in my mid 20′s sometimes. good or bad? not sure. haha!!
the start of the year was not the greatest. had to put my precious cat down cause she had mouth cancer. it was very hard on me…one of the hardest decisions i’ve ever had to make. i
ooops!
i think about her everyday pretty much. feels like the rest of the year will much lighter.
anyhow…can’t wait til august and hope you come play vancouver sometime this year
