I’m 16, and a really rough family life sped along a relationship, because he loved me so much, and didn’t want me to go through what i was dealing with at my house we got married. a few weeks ago he left for the Army, and i just recently had a dream about him and woke up crying, it made me realize that even though i thought i missed him alot, i really miss him so much more. i cried tears of joy when i got my first letter from him today
but i want to say thank you Miss Alanis, i grew up listening to your music, i can really relate to it and it has helped me get through some really hard times in my life. right now One Hand In My Pocket, cuz i’m very confused and “i haven’t got it all figured out just yet” but i’m sure that everything will be “quite alright”

My mate was killed in a road accident a few months back. The night after I found out I had a dream that we were having a chat about his bike, can’t remember what we were saying but we were having a good laugh as usual. I then told him how much I missed him, broke down and he gave me a great big hug. Just felt like he was saying goodbye. Strange ways to be comforted…..but comfort it did.
To all those who have lost someone – remember those good times and don’t forget cry if you need to. Feel no shame.
Last night I had a dream about you, alanis! It was post-concert. I had a backstage pass, because i was working there (cleaning i think) and at one point you came out of your backstage area. Gave me a good hug.
and you wanted to give me your autograph. But the pen didn’t work! So you scribbled a few of them, and i wanted to tell you it’s ok. I don’t need one. (meeting you would be enough) And i was telling you how big a fan i am, since 1995 ect ect. It was cool. Thanks for meeting me in my dream. Maybe one day it will be for real. I hope so. XXX
It was of a dream of loved one since passed. They kept telling me they where alive and well and im arguing. “No no I saw you…” I wake up and know its them making sure I know they go on and are still with me. PS) we used to listen to your music together all the time so hearing your songs brings comfort!
my grandmother after coming here to canada had a stroke and passed away..about a decade later i saw her in a dream she was a fair distance away from me , calling me to come closer. yet i was scared and suddenly tirned around, having turned back to se if she was there i saw a magnificent light and wrapped up in white cloth a baby. i woke up confused but im sure the message was she was in a better place..i hope i think i know??!!
I had this dream last April that I’ll never gonna forget: In this dream I was wearing white clothes at a place sort of dark with a lot of people from different parts of the world wearing the same clothes as I was, as if we were the same, so I thought I was dead at a mixture of heaven and hell, but there was this person holding my hand all the time, so I felt safe. The day after I went to a birthday party with a lot of people I didn’t know and one of these strangers held my hand , Then I remembered of that dream and I held it back.Three months after that I got married with this person.It may sound silly all that but thanks to that weird night and my weird dream I dared to live and today I am one of the happiest and luckiest person with the most lovely partner who really practice daily respect, partnership and love on a right level.
it’s funny that i came across this question tonight…i just joined the alanis community tonight while looking at the website, which i visited because you’ve been in my mind today. and the reason for that is that last night i had dream that i was singing head over feet for a crowd, putting my own little vocal touches on it. i love you, alanis, and i thank you for your music, your honesty, and your courage to put it out there

There are two types of dreams:
* Natural: from things you are worried or just thinking (these are psychological dreams);
* Spiritual: from spiritual source (from God and other entities). God often send messages to us, like Joseph and Daniel.
Keep attention to your dreams, to stay tuned with the messages. If some dream makes you worry, do not be afraid, just work hard to make the things right and rest in God through praying. I wish you good dreams that strengthen your spirit in a lightened path.

This dream was kind of weird but here goes i was on top of one of those rock climbing hills and i looked down and i fell, but I was aware the entire time i was falling and I fell on a lamb and a sheep. they broke my fall then out of the blue I saw my grandmothers face and her telling me she loved me.
I am really into dreams and meanings and have read dream books and more instinctual studies on dreams. I was going through a hard time and still am and my dream just told me that I may fall from time to time (not literally)but my falls will be protected and i will always have someone watching over me. dunno though this is what i got out of it. U may fall or be going through a rough patch in life but if you keep the positive in mind and fight the negative you will always have a positive outcome even if you don;t realize it’s happening.
I think dreams are like movies, and everything we are and know is the screenplay.
Only the screenplay is madlibs and the movie is something the studio came up with to meet the budget.

Am gonna be honest. I never heard of u before… But I had an “experience” that is crazy..ill leave it at that.. But ur full name , alanis, came up to me in a vision\hallucination… Idk.. And a voice saying that ur my guardian angle.. Anytime… I dont know but I feel better writing here so It meant something… No hidden agenda.. I dont sing.. I dont play instruments.. I dont care aboutmoney.. And I lack any musical talents or otherwise… But I am glade to have found your work.. Very inspiring
