I would make sure that everyone is equal, that resources are distributed in the most efficient and fair way possible and that people respect each other and are endowed with a deep sense of justice.
The main right would be freedom, that means doing what you want to without harming others. This right should be given to everybody, so when conflicts arise because the freedom of two people or groups overlap, a third neutral party would enter the game and fairly solve the dispute.
I think that with this rule as basis a society could work well, and it’s something that today’s society are mostly missing, as lots of people want to have their say in matters that they should not, like individual freedoms and stuff….
Good plan. I’m sure it gets a little more complicated than that but freedom, justice, and equality are important rights. The US is a good start but for the last 30 years some have stolen more than their fair share of work credits to the detriment of others. This problem will increase with the advent of smart robots.
It all depends on how I got to recruit the settlers from Earth, and how many of them I had. If I got to screen them first, I would trust them, but if it were a wide open volunteer scenario, I would be more strict about the checks and balances.
So how many we talkin’? 10? Or a Million?

The instincts, natures and design of the people would out-do any of my best ideas. I think I would try to do as little as possible to interfere with that.
Would there be equal distribution of income, there would be a mandatory program to preserve the animals and nature. Everyone would have access to education, health and culture. There would be no war, there would be no death and discord by religion, we would be one people, united by a higher ideal, peace and love of neighbor.
The answer is difficult. Very hard to think of something, when we are immersed in the values ​​of this society. It would be very nice that all citizens were free, there was no hunger or poverty, or prejudice, or crimes, no wars … However, we are imperfect beings, and even though I tried to configure my way, people would have entitled their own choices. I think the question applies to our planet, what would you improve it? A more equal world, where there is no miserable people, not millionaires, but then we would be talking, perhaps, another economic system, not capitalism or communism. Well, in my utopia, u-topos, we would use renewable energy, we would use more often an object, the prisons would really be a place of education, schools would be mainly focused on the values​​, then the contents would be no value to the arts and sports, all citizens would be entitled to basic conditions for a dignified life. Now the big question, how to sustain it in a capitalist world? And on the other hand, much of the technological advances we got was because of capitalism! Before the money, other products were valiant, as territory … It really is a difficult answer …
But, we have the power to change, to see through the wall.
I would not start it with people ,you can’t control them to be be niceto each other!!
I would keep different races. The different skin colors, hairs, eyes, is amazing. Makes the world colourful. One Language, even though it´s great the different sounds of the languages. No money. It causes war and frustration and competition. But no communism. FREEDOM. LOVE. No polititians. Green spread along giant forests like the AMAZON. Rivers and no polution. NATURE perfectly preserved. Music. Also No religion but faith. Friendship between all the people without prejudice. World full of possibilities and connection.
Difficult to answer all at once, but i’ll try.
In the most ideal world; Sensitive and/or caring people would be at the top of the law, people who think about the forests, nature and animals. Nature would be at the top of the list. Money would not be important. There would be enough for everybody. People would care about each other, as if we were one big family. No judgements, but freedom, and connection.X

I would set up a civilization based on “fair trade” (i got that idea from coldplay)
where people would just trade things or items or skills or whatever, instead of using money..for example when i smoked if i was out of smokes and i wanted a cig and i saw someone smoking i would ask them for a cig but if i had an extra lighter, i would offer my lighter after they gave me the cig..does that make sense??
Im not sure how you would start it though…im thinking of a civilization that already used a monetary system and people were trading things that they aqquired from that older system…so i dunno how one would start from scratch…
but i like the idea of a trading system but now that im thinking about it, a trading system is kinda like money…Only i would cut out the middleman, the middleman being the cash…more like you get what you give type thing..
i dunno im not that smart about these kinds of things..

Would it be the only civilization on its Planet? If so, defense of the civilization would be very important depending on the demeanor/values of the other civilizations also on the Planet. If it would be the only civilization, that would be a plus. A government system and an economic system would need to be implemented. For government, a democracy/constitutional republic similar to that of the United States of America would be my choice, but I would not allow political parties. All candidates for higher office and even positions with less authority would register their positions on issues into an information registry so that citizens could kknow where they stand on all issues. All citizens would serve in the government as representatives on a rotating basis, but at any particular time only 10% of citizens would serve in public office. The government would also be supportive of the values of Justice, Virtue, non-violence among fellow citizens (but if multiple civilizations existed, a military would be created for defense), cooperation, egalitarianism, willing contributions of volunteerism, and economic justice. The economic system would be structured with the needs of the ciitizenry being priority #1. In order to provide economic stability, a monetary system would be necessary to implement the proper flow of commerce. The system would have price regulation in which prices would be frozen to prevent inflation of the currency. All goods and services would be based on the availability of natural resources and raw materials. The protection of the Planet’s health in terms of not creating pollution or damage to the Planet would be a high priority. Each citizen would be educated and employed. Scientific/technological positions would be provided. Wages would be regulated and structured based on the citizens’ requirements in terms of what is needed to provide sustenance and goods/services that provide an acceptable quality of life. I could write more, but I would need to do more research on the subject……..

In starting a new civilization, I would strive for balance, understanding that regardless of the planet, we are all part of a bigger picture, and we need to see that picture as a living, breathing being. Understanding that we do what we do with good intent, understanding we are imperfect, and recognizing we can improve our own selves, thus helping heal the whole.
Thing is, if we fail this planet, who says we deserve another one? Sometimes it is okay for a cancer to be eradicated. I would hope our adopted mother could forgive us for the sins against our mother.
Oi! that’s a huge undertaking, even just thinking about it. Think i’d start by sending in a group of intuitives to feel the place out, to see what the spirit of the planet called for. My biggest temptation would be to set up a utopian model for a civilization, a place where everyone had the utmost respect for each other and the spirit or energy of the planet. Something of this scope would have been pre planned in the spiritual worlds so keeping in contact with the intent, keeping connection for guidance. One of the most exciting parts would be the planning, getting representative groups together to feel and think out just how the structure would work ,uncovering all the details through group meetings, what we could learn from this planet, what we would change. Built from the inside out . I’d love to end up with a place where the folk involved had a sincere desire to live in harmony with their surroundings and each other, but there was room for all expression and lots of room for personal growth. A place where creative expression was strongly encouraged and the arts flourished and the folk involved were mature enough to work out differences.And everyone loved to play pick up not keep score baseball and pond hockey! Think you’d want to start by trying the vision on a small scale . It’s pretty exciting thinking about all the possibilities. Take a pile of preparation and thought, learning ,but what an exciting adventure!! And Alanis, it‘s me, in case you’re wondering, we really should talk ….
Establish consciousness / awareness / mindfulness / perception as the single highest, experientially (not just intellectually) understood value. All the rest will then fall into place.

I would use the concept of a very old and forgotten culture, the pagan civilazation.
With the knowledge of this culture it’s possible to restore, maintain and grow love in everyone, it can restore or deepen the wisdom everyone has inside his/herself.
Important values are a deep understanding and connection with nature and god. Plants and trees play and important role. They help us creating and maintaining a space of love for our family.
The concept is that every family has its own peace of motherland, this familydomain is about one hectare and each family creates s space of love on it. It can never be for sale but has to be inherited, so it stays in teh family.
If you would like to have a deeper understanding of this concept,to awaken your consciousness (more) and deepen your wisdom inside of you, I recommend reading the books of Vladimir Megre. They contain the ideas of a very wise woman, Anastasia. It’ll be very helpful to start a new civilazation on this planet and to cure our mother earth.
