Alanis Morissette

Oddly enough I came to this thought when I was listening to ”That I would be Good.” from Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie when I first heard it in 2010. I never actually knew that album existed until then. It’s my favorite Alanis Song!!! It’s one of thoses songs you get in your head and can’t get out (who would want to). Sometimes I put it on repeat and just write for hours. Could anyone who heard this really be a bad person?

I don’t know if she uses ”humble” for the way of life or for the character, but both are right. We don’t need much to live, ’cause the most important is inside us. And one who know a lot don’t need to show other how much he knows.

I know perfectly about ”givee up knowing”. But I still didn´t find the track. When I knew a lot, which means, know a little bit of everything, I was totally excluded from my friends because I wasn´t supposed ”normal” as they used to call. I didn´t have nobody to talk and knowledge was part of me. When I decied to stop knowing for while then you become boring and no interesting anymore. Today I am so proud I know I wanna know more but I really do wanna share . Knowledge is something that scares people.

Well, Back on track I mean. Now I wet back to my original place. Studying, improving my mind, my thoughts. Maybe not as biologist anymore because unemployment is struggling with Europe. But I am more aware about politicians, what I really wasn´t before and Spirituality is something that I am also improving, so, improving myself. I know about the song. One of my favorites. And the lyric is right when it says ”And now I see the madness in me is brought in the presence of you” because when you´re sorrounded my ignorant people you really think you´re crazy, and this was my situation before. But then we know we cannot change what´s deep inside us, so I am what I am and not what I am supposed to be. Thanks for the compliments about my answers. I just want share great things.

Yes, unfortunatelly politicians. In my original country I didn´t know anything about them and didn´t wanna. Only that they steal money from heaven to Hell. But in the country where I am now, is much smaller so people have more contact with politicians who goes to our houses asking for votes. I never saw it before. So, I am closer to this subject than I would like to. Do you know anything about the F* harmonica? Really, I think they were kidding or messing with us. Never heard about the winner…Well, the Harmonica thing just came into my mind because it´s like politicians promises in election year. ”WE WILL GIVE AN HARMONICA FOR THOSE WHO LEAVE A COMMENT IN THE WEBSITE UNTIL X DATE” Then, exactly the politicians, they changed the date, desapeared with the Harmonica and we never more heard anything from them. I think Alanis is ready to be President.

I am originally from Brazil. Living in Ireland since 2009. Maybe Alanis doesn´t know but their delay in producing something or up dating the website, causes an effect in her image. This is what I think. We don´t really wanna know who´s behind the website, if it´s john, Betsy or Mary. We wanna news, interactivity, express and answers from them also. Alanis has so much that I feel that this delay makes us lose ideas and content. Florida, Nice. I´ve been to Disney. Miami, Orlando. Great place. I like the American accent. Irish accent is so hard to get.

Don´t know what she wanted to say about the fire trucks, but sometimes they´re so needed inside myself to cool down my mind.

Great!!! Maybe the fire truck coming around the bend is the new knowledge coming to our mind from inconsciousness.

This is what I am talking about. Somebody to challenge and be challenge. No competitions. But it´s a pitty that we cannot dig Alanis deeper. She´s probably such a wonderful person, full of experience, who can write thousands of books and songs and write and express endeless. Imagine the amount of things she lived, experienced? It´s amazing. This is why sometimes I become ”angry” that this website is not even 0,1% of everything she can share. OMG, 5 Minutes with her, talking. Amazing.

I was thinking why so many artists to be good need to be devastated by drugs or problems with the family. Alanis is a completely exception. She grew with a very close family, loving her twin brother so much, there´s a lovely picture of her kissing her granny on the cheek, she´s so grounded. I am so happy I like Alanis and not Kourtney Love for exemple. Eminem is a great composer, had problems with wife, mom. Pink had problems, Amy Whinehouse, although I think she was a great great person, with no problem with people but with her self. But I am so glad I have Alanis as an icon

This is really Utopia. Nowadays she should sing this new version for this song: ”We don´t gather around, all in a different room, we don´t mind about seatbelts, and don´t tell me that facebook and twitter is called ”dialogue”… teenagers drink and drive as faster as they can and don´t rest in peace, they probably killed somebody and will carry this guilt”. It´s so cruel version, But just to show how really is an UTOPIA to sit and talk honestly with somebody, looking into their eyes, not afraid fo the feelings.
