*** we need midwives, more than ever ***

I cannot believe how different obstetrics in America is, compared to Switzerland. As you could read in my other comment, I’m a midwife. We ACCOMPANY and SUPPORT women and their partners during delivery (home, birthplace, hospital), we are part of the whole experience but it’s the woman who delivers her baby.

by the way – I’m a midwife and my first delivery after I graduated was accompanied by your music. when the baby was born, the stereo randomly played ‘thank you’. it made the moment perfect and was a clear sign for me: I had chosen the right job.
