Okay, so many of you would say “oh well, pin a rose on your nose” after reading this post, but after I read that Alanis is going to give a signed harmonica to one of us who will write more comments, I’ve been wondering what should I write (because I really want to have the signed harmonica, as well as the other fans want it, and we will read it like hundred comments about this). However this is my opportunity to say thank you Alanis for your music, for those thought-provoking lyrics you write, it is a bliss to listen to your voice, full of passion and devotion, yet careless at the same time, thanks for making my life a place worth living in. You were and still are my inspiration, because of you my parents bought me guitar, and now I am able to play some of your songs and enjoy every minute of it. I really do wish I was born earlier so I could have seen you on the 5 ½ tour you had along with Tori, and many of the other tours you had. Never been to your concert before (but what can I possibly do, I’m young and I live in a country who some don’t even know it exists), hope to see/hear you live one day. Looking forward to hearing your new songs. Rock on, and keep on writing.
And yes, If you are making a tour next year please come to Macedonia!

    • hey Katerina,do not know if u meant to send me a friend request but glad u did. how old are u? luckily I’M OLD ENOUGH TO HAVE BEEN AROUND B4 ALANIS CAME ON THE SCENE. I’VE BEEN WRITING FOR AS LONG AS I CAN REMEMBER,PLAYED SO MANY INSTRUMENTS I,VE FORGOTTEN HOW I WAS SO YOUNG WHEN I STARTED. WRITING HAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE MY TRUE PASSION, HENCE MY LOVE FOR ALANIS. I’VE READ THE DICTIONARY AS A PASTIME. I AM A KINDRED! WORD FREAK TO THE CORE. MY VERY FAVORITE THING ON EARTH IS TO SEE THE PROVERBIAL ”LIGHTBULB” COME ON OVER SOMEONES HEAD! THAT IS MY”HAPPINESS” AND TRUE ”SATISFACTION”. HOPEFULLY YOU CAN GET TO KNOW ALANIS AS SHE EMBARKS ON HER NEW FOUNDATION,I FEEL THE FIRST PART OF HER CAREER AS A SELF DEFINING JOURNEY INTO WOMANHOOD.MISTAKES&SUCCESSES ALIKE HAVE CREATED A TRULY TALENTED SOUL SEEKER. HER INNTROSPECTION CAN BE A LESSEN TO US ALL… COMPASSIONATELY YOURS, CHARIS

    • Hey Charis, I really don’t know what to think after I read your comment. I didn’t say anything wrong, I think.
I’m 16 years old and I still don’t have the permission to travel around the world alone + I don’t work. Happy for you that you have been around and your passion for writing, glad to know that you know how to play on different instruments, I’m still learning how to play (I’m kind of a person who doesn’t stop until everything is known).
and what to say more.. after all we all have one thing in common – we all truly love Alanis, and we are (well I’m) inspired by her music.
Sending you lots of love and hugs. :)

    • Right, Debora. My mistake, I know that it is not about how much comments you write (I was so thrilled when I read the post, so I guess that’s why I wrote that), one is enough to automatically win the harmonica.
And yes you’re right once again, it is so difficult to find tabs not just for the bass guitar, but for acoustic/electric guitar as well… ah well I guess we should make a site for Alanis’s music, where whoever figures out the tabs – to put them there… it’s just an idea though. By the way thanks for your comment I really appreciate it.
And yes, I quite enjoy the new site. Keep on practicing, because practice makes perfect.
      XOXO

    • I don’t like to argue with fellow Alanis fans (and especially for political rasons), but if Alanis visits Macedonia she will not come to your country which is F.Y.R.O.M (Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia), but to a region of Greece.
You are so young, don’t let your politicians brainwash and force you to be a misinformed nationalist.

      Peace

    • LOL, I personally love Greece, so that is why I’m gonna ignore your comment. :)
btw, I don’t really want to go back in the past, because we all know what happened. (we should learn from the mistakes that were made in the past, and NOT repeat them again)
Music connects people, so let’s leave politics behind. :)
      Peace
