hi candace,
there are so many things i have learned that to pull one is a challenge…so maybe i’ll share what i most recently learned (yesterday!)one tendency i see that i have is that of overcompensating a bit, ie wanting to make sure that i provide things for my son in a way that leads to a perfectionism that is debilitating.
i thought i…[Read more]

i usually fill journals full of things i’d like to write about they can be things i know i need to vent about, or stories, or an idea that i know i need to write about in order to gain clarity, knowing that songwriting is only cathartic (not healing in and of itself, more on [...]

Alanis Morissette, is it really You?
-
You know. One day I was talking with somebody on Facebook and i really thought was Alanis herslef using other nickname. She was writing things and using words that we know that only Alanis in her poetry skills knows how to use. But she was gone and I still don´t know if it was the real Alanis. My heart believe was.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the person you were posting to was her. I’ll bet that she’s very thoughtful………
-
I am not surprised. I do believe was Alanis. I just would like to have this confirmed to be proud of what destiny prepared to me in life. Be happy for the period we exchanged messages. Anyway. i like Alanis and I do believe she cares about us, or I wouldn´t be with her for nearly 17 years.

Good Day Alanis, I hope that you were able to go to your native city of Ottawa to attend the NHL All-Star weekend……. Your co-Captain Captained a Win in the skills competition. The game was close, but I think that team Chara wanted to save face after nnot winning the skills, so they got intense. (Chara was a Senator for quite a while, as are…[Read more]

hi there,
there are so many inquiries that wake me in the middle of the night, or hover about me when i go about my days.
depending on how sleepless i’ve been….i consider these either sacred awakenings, or, torturous insomnia.
the main inquiry that feels worth its’ salt in self-knowledge gold is the ultimate spiritual inquiry: “who am…[Read more]In reply to - ledieudusoleil commented on the blog post Q&A with AM: Submit your questions for Alanis! one of my bibles.
love him. And I live for perfume.
read this book when I was 15. Made relationships and their mysteries make so much more sense. Is the cornerstone of how I approach partnership.
cried ceaselessly throughout this book for the self-recognition.
we love john bradshaw. Him and pia melody nail the shame conversation for me.
gangaji is so beautiful. First saw her speak in 1996 or 97. Her pointings toward freedom are the most compelling.
pia is the seminal voice in codependence recovery and love addiction recovery in my opinion.
this book singlehandedly moved me toward high nutrient eating. Bless joel Fuhrman.
joshua david stone. Such integration of the psyche and the soul work. With a sweetness and an awareness of the steps toward ascension that is unparalleled
my twin brother. Stunning music that makes me cry. And his teaching style and understanding of yoga and its history has been a guiding force for me.
