Alanis’ music and lyrics and voice touch in a way no other artist has ever done. Ever since I was about 10 I’ve enjoyed listening to her distinct voice and awesome songs. Many of her songs have helped me threw hard times in my life, breakups, anger, guilt. (You Oughta Know, This Grudge, Moratorium, Not as We especially come to mind. Her songs also have helped me feel happiness and joy (Everything, Giggling Again for No Reason, Knees of my Bees) Her music is perfect for every mood. Certain songs are good for other moods, some good for others. But no matter my mood I can always put in an Alanis song and just rock out to it.
