Alanis has a one of a kind voice. It sort of elevates the soul. I can find that in every one of her songs. It’s the meaning that impresses me so much. That no matter what happens ”That I would be good” even if I felt tragedy. That I would be good even if I lost everything. The flute in this song is one of those tunes you get stuck in your head and it almost transforms into something more beautiful than before (if possible). I wish I had a piano to play out the notes that form after the flute had stopped.
