I know perfectly about ”givee up knowing”. But I still didn´t find the track. When I knew a lot, which means, know a little bit of everything, I was totally excluded from my friends because I wasn´t supposed ”normal” as they used to call. I didn´t have nobody to talk and knowledge was part of me. When I decied to stop knowing for while then you become boring and no interesting anymore. Today I am so proud I know I wanna know more but I really do wanna share . Knowledge is something that scares people.

By, ”didn’t find the track”, do you mean that you want to know what Alanis song the quote is from? The title is : ”Madness”. It’s one of the extra songs from her, ”Flavors of Entanglement” album/CD. If some people excluded you because you weren’t (in their opinions), ”normal”, then those people were wrong to do that. Some people form groups (cliques) and act like snobs. they’re wrong to do that. I like posting to you, and I admire your replies. You’re absolutely right when you say that knowledge scares people. Some people get scared of things that they shouldn’t be scared of……..AND…..they don’t get scared of things that they should be concerned about. humanity, presently, isn’t very Wise because many people don’t seek or value Wisdom. If people seek Wisdom and try to acquire Wisdom….they’ll find it and acquire it.

Well, Back on track I mean. Now I wet back to my original place. Studying, improving my mind, my thoughts. Maybe not as biologist anymore because unemployment is struggling with Europe. But I am more aware about politicians, what I really wasn´t before and Spirituality is something that I am also improving, so, improving myself. I know about the song. One of my favorites. And the lyric is right when it says ”And now I see the madness in me is brought in the presence of you” because when you´re sorrounded my ignorant people you really think you´re crazy, and this was my situation before. But then we know we cannot change what´s deep inside us, so I am what I am and not what I am supposed to be. Thanks for the compliments about my answers. I just want share great things.

Studying and improving one’s mind are worthwhile endeavors. You choose those actions Wisely! I try to do those things everyday. I hope that you’re able to work as a biologist as soon as possible. politicians? ugh. I didn’t like typing that word. As for Spirituality, it’s a blessing to type the word Spirituality! See, I typed it again! I wonder what Alanis meant by writing that line of ”Madness” that you quoted….. Maybe people can change what’s deep inside them…..at least I hope that they’ll change things that are negative, and create new things that are positive……..You’re very welcome to the compliments! You deserve them! You want to share great things, and you do it well!

Yes, unfortunatelly politicians. In my original country I didn´t know anything about them and didn´t wanna. Only that they steal money from heaven to Hell. But in the country where I am now, is much smaller so people have more contact with politicians who goes to our houses asking for votes. I never saw it before. So, I am closer to this subject than I would like to. Do you know anything about the F* harmonica? Really, I think they were kidding or messing with us. Never heard about the winner…Well, the Harmonica thing just came into my mind because it´s like politicians promises in election year. ”WE WILL GIVE AN HARMONICA FOR THOSE WHO LEAVE A COMMENT IN THE WEBSITE UNTIL X DATE” Then, exactly the politicians, they changed the date, desapeared with the Harmonica and we never more heard anything from them. I think Alanis is ready to be President.

What is your oringinal country? There are many countries nowadays that are becoming more like your original country…… What is your new country? I live in Southwest Florida, USA. As for the Harmonica contest, I think that people were encouraged to leave a comment and possibly be picked to win an Alanis autographed harmonica (just one person would win). Sometimes Alanis’ staff that operates the website (the new one and the old one), are a bit delayed in producing results for contests or new ”write Alanis” topics and prizes. I don’t think that Alanis is even aware that the harmonica contest hasn’t been resolved yet. She’s probably very busy with her album and her family………

I am originally from Brazil. Living in Ireland since 2009. Maybe Alanis doesn´t know but their delay in producing something or up dating the website, causes an effect in her image. This is what I think. We don´t really wanna know who´s behind the website, if it´s john, Betsy or Mary. We wanna news, interactivity, express and answers from them also. Alanis has so much that I feel that this delay makes us lose ideas and content. Florida, Nice. I´ve been to Disney. Miami, Orlando. Great place. I like the American accent. Irish accent is so hard to get.

Brasil, from what I’ve heard, is a wonderful place. My sister went to Ireland back in 1987 and still raves about it. Yes, the operators of the websiite can sometimes be very late in updating or following through with a contest or the write Alanis feature. Yes, Florida is wonderful. I’ve lived here on and of for about 14 years. The American accent varies from region to region of the USA. The Irish accent(when speaking English) may have been strongly influenced by the Gaelic language.
