Amazing control of melody but I miss the old alanis all out n balls to the wall even when dealing with love
like knees of my bees or head over heels. The chorus is a bit too personal (between u and your darling) thus feels not inviting, hope its not the first single of the new album >.<
I love Alanis’s songs and lyrics. ‘Into a King’ is a different song: still very personal, but a true love song. I hear all the time and sing it in my car. My husband loves it ‘cos he thinks I’m singing for him. In fact, I am. Thanks for this beautiful song.

Coincidentally, or planned by the universe…all of your released albums have coincided with events in my life…although we’ve never met….I consider you a soulmate of mine for that reason. Ironically, my new husband’s last name is King…I too, have finally found a healthy & blissful relationship …and I turned into a “King”!
