Alanis update from Portland, OR

Portland, Oregon, October 7th 2012

Note to self: it’s amazing what can be achieved on so little sleep â˜ș

Revelation: this is a whole new ball game, traveling with my lil one. Sometimes he needs me and is such a priority that I might miss out on bonding with people after shows. Whole new life. Truly what I have always wanted and dreamed of. Sorry to the people I may miss out on chatting with. You are in my heart.

Favorite moment: the degree of connection and feeling grokked by the audience tonight. Wow. Thank you.

Alanis Update from Pomona, CA

9/26/12 – Pomona, CA

Note to self: moving away from scarcity thinking (ie: “must make money at the cost of everything” etc mindset..makes room for super authentic “I have defined what is enough” living. So much more fun. And filled with surprises.

Revelation: whether it is respect for artists (billie joe), or respect for Art Itself (art programs, not making fun of men feeling emotions etc), this is a conversation about the divine feminine taking her “rightful” seat, at long last. This beautiful movement that has taken us (the female) from being owned, to being autonomous (both somewhat lonely), to us arriving at a place where we are interdependent, has been a long time coming. Now we find the Feminine (in both Men and Women) is being celebrated. Becoming the “new norm”: where the masculine and feminine are being invited into both genders’ lives. In the gay community, in the artist community, in the somatic community, in the more inquiry-oriented spiritual beyond-just-the intellectual communities. That where we are arriving allows us to have access to both the masculine and feminine. Without shame. at long last, these aspects are not only allowed, but sexy. Nice.

Favorite part of the night: feeling how HEART-FULL the audience is/was. Wow. I adore you.
